Chick-a-Fila Helps Finds Runaway Teen

There's a thousand reasons that you should love Chic-fil-A, if not for their delicious chicken, awe inspiring waffle fries, fresh squeezed lemonade, homemade ice cream and who can forget those savory sauces, it should be for their always friendly always fast customer service.
Chick-fil-A Restaurant (eater.com)
Chick-fil-A is an establishment that I applaud on so many levels, not only for their food but because they are founded on wholesome values, that are uncanny for a fast food chain; flowers on every table, scholarships for all their employees and closed on Sunday so that people can spend time with their families. I could go on and on about Chick-fil-A, probably have already, but the reason they are in the news this week, is because of their employees coming together to bring home a 16-year-old girl that ran away from home with a 19-year-old man she met online.
Kailyn Harp left a note for her parents last week and informed them that she was running away with a guy who she met over the internet, and by that time was nearly 200 miles away from her Jacksonville home and posting photos.

Frantic, her parents searched her social media for clues and spotted the man in  a Chick-fil-A uniform, they quickly contacted their local Chick-fil-A in Jacksonville who posted the photo on a Chick-fil-A mangers instagram and within two hours got in contact with the restaurant that employes the young man which was in Winter Haven, and told him to have the girl call home. That manger then drove the girl over 200 miles back to her home , where her parents excitedly and tearfully thanked the man that re-united them with their daughter.

The police did not press charges against the 19-year-old, but said that he received "a stern talking to." No information on what the parents had to say to the daughter was provided.

Hopefully they not only spoke to her about the dangers of meeting people online, and running away, but also gave her "a stern butt whooping" and took away all her electronic devices until she proves responsible enough to handle it. Wow! Never thought I would sound like a parent, but this is something very serious that could have ended a whole lot worse if it weren't for the good hearted people at Chick-fil-A.

Some people criticized Chick-fil-A earlier last year because their President was interviewed and said he did not support gay marriage after  which many students and protestors boycotted the establishment (which didn't last long) and proceeded to get petitions, rally's and media coverage to aide in this mission. I thought this story was absolutely ludicrous when I first heard it, since Chick-fil-A has always been a christian establishment, and even then so the views of it's president don't undermine the Gay community in anyway, and as if opposing views some how can't exist without trying to stir up controversy, but I digress.
Chick-fil-A later released a statement saying:
"Going forward, our intent is to leave the policy debate over same-sex marriage to the government and political arena."
Smooth Move Chick-fil-A, continue to stand on good values, and you will always thrive. This story reenforces the reason that even though I plan to pursue a life of partial pescetarinism, I will always eat Chick-fil-A, because it's chicken I can trust :) #SheNoIt
