If you didn't know, it's Girl Scout Cookie season, and all over the nation young ladies will be working hard to hustle those cookies for incentives, which this year include; Elegant afternoon in Manhattan ending with Tea at the Plaza for 1000+ boxes and a tablet or stereo headphones for 2000+, and of course the coveted badges. 
While it may seem that the 4$ boxes of Carmel Coconut, Peanut Butter, Thin minted, lemony delicious goodness should sell like crack anyway. It can be hard in these streets for a Girls Scout if your trop member are working just as hard as you ( I know I was once a Girl Scout). But one Girl Scout has a sure fire way to be number one seller, and it all involved Mary Jane.
Danielle Lei of a San Francisco troop sold 117 boxes in just Two hours outside of a Green Cross Weed Dispensary which was almost 40 more than what she sold standing outside of her local grocery store. It is well known that Marijuana is associated an increased appetite for tasty snacks, and it seem like Danielle knew exactly how to attract her audience!
While it seem that the 13-year-old would have received major criticism her troop leaders say they have no problem with her business plan and many News Stations called her "a smart cookie" for taking advantage of her demographics and Danielle's mother says that it was a good way to explain to her that Marijuana users
"Are not drugged out, and many have serious illness, and are just a little different, and that they get very hungry afterwards"
The Green Cross Dispensary where Lei made her sales in front of posted a picture of her on their facebook which has 89k+ like on it's page using the caption:
"When the Girl Scouts set-up shop outside The Green Cross storefront yesterday, little did they know they'd need to call for back-up Girl Scout Cookies after 45 minutes! It's all about location and it's safe to say this one was a great success. We're excited to have them back again soon and will keep our members posted!
I believe that this is just the first step in not only the legalization of Marijuana, but also the decriminalization of marijuana. This story comes only a few months after the story of the little boy who went from having to take 22 pills a day to treat his epileptic seizers, to now only 1 and a half,after being treated with medical marijuana, which in my opinion qualifies as a miracle, and just weeks after the story of police handing out Doritos at Hemp Fest with marijuana laws listed right on the bag.
Hopefully Legislation in Florida and all across the nation will take head to these amazing miracles that Marijuana is bringing about, and stop pushing us these addictive narcotics that our slowing killing our insides and endorsing this propaganda that marijuana is a gateway drug. President Obama himself said that marijuana is no worse than alcohol, but I suppose it's the same people who hate marijuana who hate the president, but thats just speculation. We can only hope for the best when it comes to this movement, and it starts with Registering to vote and staying posted on everything Green!
